STUFFED CHICKEN !!

chicken meat contains about two or three times as much polyunsaturated fat than most types of red meat when measured as weight percentage. chicken's meat contains less fat when compared to it's skin, therefore it is a healthy delight.
















INGREDIENTS:

  • chicken (whole)- 1 kg  (with skin)
  • boiled egg 3-4
  • onion 1 med - cut and fried till golden brown
  • mustard paste- 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • star punj- 1
  • black cardamom- 2
  • green cardamom- 3
  • coves 3-4
  • cumin seed- 1 tsp
  • pepper seeds- 1/1 tsp
  • dried ginger- 1/2 inch
  • chilli flakes- 2 tsp
  • lemon juice- 2 tablespoon
  • olive oil- 2 tablespoon
  • water- 1/2 cup
  • cashew nut- 1 tablespoon
  • rasins or black current- 1 tablespoon


METHOD:

  • clean the chicken from inside properly
  • now take little salt and lemon juice and rub it on the chicken from inside and  outside
  • now apply little olive oil on the chicken outside and inside
  •  take star punj, black and green cardamon, cloves, cumin seeds, dried ginger, chilli flakes, and pepper and grind it to make a powder
  • take mustard paste and the masala in equal qty and apply it on the chicken inside and outside
  • first put chopped cashew nuts and rasins 
  • then add golden brown onion
  • at the end stuff boiled egg and close the end with a cotton thread
  • heat a cooker and add little olive oil and butter( can be cooked in a pan also)
  • then add whole chicken and 1/2 cup water
  • then cover it and cook from one side 
  • wait for 1 whistle
  • then open it and turn the chicken and cook it again and wait for 1 whistle
  • turn off the flame  and serve it hot (cut the thread)
  • can be served with chapati, naan or paratha
