MANGO PHIRNI!!


















INGREDIENTS:
  • full cream milk - 1 lts
  • basmati rice - 1 cup
  • khova - 50 gm
  • sugar - 1 and 1/2 cup
  • green cardamom crushed -  2 -3 tsp
  • alphonso mango pulp - 1 cup
  • cashew nut and rasin for garnish
METHOD:
  • boil the milk and after it boils
  • add soaked and crushed rice in the milk
  • cook till  the milk reduces
  • and the consistency becomes thick
  • later add khova and cook for 5 min
  • turn off the flame
  • then add sugar (sugar is added in the end because it slows down the cooking process)
  • and mix crushed green cardamom
  • let it cool till room temperature then add mango pulp and mix
  • then serve it chilled
  • garnish it with chopped cashew nut and rasin
