yUmMy PrawN mASaLA!!

prawn are the delicacy eaten worldwide. It is sweet , firm , meaty flesh. The ultimate fast food are quick to cook and great for soups, pastas, curries, tapas and so much more.


















INGREDIENTS FOR PRAWN MASALA:

  • Fennel seeds- 1  tsp
  • cumin seed- 1  tsp
  • onion- 1 med (chop.)
  • tomato- 1 med (chop.)
  • garlic- ginger paste- 1 tsp
  • mustard paste- 1 tsp
  • salt
  • turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  • chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  • cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
  • garam masala- 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves( for garnish)


METHOD FOR PRAWN MASALA:

  • heat kadhai and add 3 tsp oil
  • now add fennel seed, and cumin seed and let it crackle
  • now add chopped onion and tomato and saute till it turns transparent
  • add ginger garlic paste and saute
  • then add salt and turmeric powder
  • now add mustard paste and saute till 5  min
  • then add chilli powder, coriander powder,   and cumin powder, 
  • sprinkle some water to avoid burning of the masala
  • now add prawn and cover it
  • cook it for 10 min
  • now add 1/4 cup of water to make a thick sauce
  • now boil it and then add garam masala powder
  • cook for 5  min 
  • now garnish with coriander leaves
  • and serve hot
