INGREDIENTS FOR PRAWN MASALA:
- Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
- cumin seed- 1 tsp
- onion- 1 med (chop.)
- tomato- 1 med (chop.)
- garlic- ginger paste- 1 tsp
- mustard paste- 1 tsp
- salt
- turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
- cumin powder- 1/2 tsp
- coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
- garam masala- 1/2 tsp
- coriander leaves( for garnish)
METHOD FOR PRAWN MASALA:
- heat kadhai and add 3 tsp oil
- now add fennel seed, and cumin seed and let it crackle
- now add chopped onion and tomato and saute till it turns transparent
- add ginger garlic paste and saute
- then add salt and turmeric powder
- now add mustard paste and saute till 5 min
- then add chilli powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder,
- sprinkle some water to avoid burning of the masala
- now add prawn and cover it
- cook it for 10 min
- now add 1/4 cup of water to make a thick sauce
- now boil it and then add garam masala powder
- cook for 5 min
- now garnish with coriander leaves
- and serve hot
