SIMPLE GOBI AND LAUKI KI SABZI!!

Lauki or bottle gourd is a very healthy and nutritious vegetable, it is cheap and affordable by any class of people. It also helps deal with obesity.





















INGREDIENTS:

  •  chopped Lauki or bottle gourd- 500 gm
  • gobi -250 gm
  • pannch foran( jeera seeds. methi, rye, onion seed, ajwain, fennel)
  • dry red chilli- 2
  • hing (asafoetida)- 1 pinch
  • garlic- 2 cloves
  • chopped ginger
  • oil


METHOD:

  • cut gobi into med pieces and leave it for 5 min in luke warm water( to remove the insects)
  • now heat a pan and add 2-3 Tsp oil and saute gobi with little salt
  • heat a pressure cooker to save time and fuel
  • add 2 Tsp oil in the cooker
  • then add hing, paanch foran, dry red chilli, and roughly crushed ginger and garlic and saute it
  • then add lauki and turmeric powder and add a little salt 
  • then cover it and cook it till 3 whistles
  • now add gobi and serve it hot...
