EGGPLANT MASALA!!
People around the world think that eggplant is a non-nourishing food, but this is not true.

INGREDIENTS:

INGREDIENTS:
- eggplant - 500gm
- onion - 1 med
- tomato -1 med
- garlic 3-4 cloves
- green chilli paste - 1 tsp
- fenugreek seeds -1/2 tsp
- fennel seeds -1/ 2 tsp
- cumin seed -1 /2 tsp
- coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
- turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- chat masala - 1 tsp
- salt
- oil
METHOD:
- dry roast fennel seed, fenugreek seed, cumin seed and coriander seed and gring them to make a powder
- chop eggplant into med. pieces
- chop onion, tomato and garlic to make a paste
- put the powder masala and wet masala(onion, tomato, garlic and green chilli paste) together and put the chopped eggplant in it
- add chat masala, turmeric powder and salt to the mixture
- heat a pan and add oil
- then add the eggplant mixture to it
- first cook it on high flame for 5-6 min
- then we will lower the flame and cook
- after 15 min check the eggplant (whether it is soft or not)
- after that turn off the flame and serve hot
- can be served with chapathi or paratha.
