Punjabi Daal!

Punjab is one of the states of India and the dishes of Punjab are famous all over India.
Punjabi Daal is full of pulses which will keep you healthy and fit and not only that its amazing taste will take u out of this world Hope you will like this dish of mine.....

INGREDIENTS:

  • Kidney beans [1 Cup soaked]
  • Whole Moong Daal [Half cup soaked]
  • Whole Urad Daal [Half cup soaked]
  • Hing [1 Pinch]
  • Salt according to taste
  • Butter [1 cube]
  • Olive oil [2 Tea spoon]
  • Onion [Chopped medium 1]
  • Potato [2 Medium Cut ]
  • Tomato [Chopped 1]\
  • Garlic [Chopped 2-3 cloves]
  • Ginger [Chopped Half inch]
  • Coriander leaves [Chopped 2 tea spoon]
  • Green chilli [1 Chopped]
  • Mix masala [1 tea spoon]
  • Chilli powder [Half tea spoon]
  • Cumin Seeds [1 tea spoon]
  • Turmeric Powder [2 tea spoon]
METHOD:

  • Firstly take all the three types of dal and wash it nicely and transfer it in the pressure cooker and then add water as you need and then add salt,Turmeric powder,Hing and close the lid and cook it for 3 whistles.
  • Now take a pan and heat butter and olive oil in it and watch when you are going to melt the butter it may burn please be careful.
  • When the Oil gets hot than we add Cumin seeds ,when seeds crackle add green chilli,Onion and fry them for 5 minutes.After that  add Garlic,Ginger, and saute it for 5 mins.
  • After that add all the vegetables and mix the Turmeric,Mix masala,Salt and cover the lid of the lid of the pan and cook them till the potatoes are cooked .Then add coriander leaves in the pan and the Tadka is prepared.Now mix this in the dal which is in the cooker and then cook for 5 minutes.
