DAL TADKA IN MY STYLE!!!


Dal tadka is famous in India for its Amazing taste.I am given z bit of my twist in it and made it in my style, Hope you enjoy having it.........

INGREDIENTS:

  • Brown chick peas dal [1 cup soaked over night]
  • Onion [2 chopped]
  • Tomato [1 chopped]
  • Green chilli [1 chopped]
  • Turmeric powder [1 tea spoon]
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee [1 and a half table spoon]
  • Asafoetida [1 pinch]
  • Garam masala [2 Green cardamom,4 Cloves,Cinnamon stick half inch,Black cardamom 1,Moongauri [half cup fried]
METHOD:

  • Firstly,Heat the pressure cooker and add ghee in it.Then in the ghee add all the Garam masala's and roast till it turns golden-brown.Then take the masala out and add cumin seeds and saute the onions till golden-brown then add moongauri fry it for five minutes and then add tomato,chilli, and Salt then add Turmeric powder and then add water to it and the close the lid of the pressure cooker and let the dal cook for 3-4 whistles,
  • Next you can add roasted and crushed Garam masala and Coriander leaves.
Your delight is ready! Serve HOT with rice of parathaa!Enjoy this delight with everyone.......
